The first thing you see will reveal your subconscious fear.
Look at the picture. What’s the first thing you see?
A knife, a butterfly or a caterpillar?
If you saw the caterpillar first you are:
Scared of not being good enough
What you worry about all the time is that you’re not good enough or that you’ve disappointed someone. You have that same feeling about relationships, work and your social life, and it’s really hard for you to get rid of.
The truth is that you’re a hard worker, and you invest your heart and soul into everything you do. You expect everything to have a perfect outcome and that’s exactly why you’re afraid of failure.
The only thing that truly matters is the fact that you’re doing your best, so you should stop doubting yourself and start believing in the skills that you posses.
If you saw the knife first you are:
Scared of being hurt
Your deepest, darkest fear is being betrayed or hurt by someone you love and trust. That’s mainly why your cycle of friends is a smaller one. You like socializing with people, but when it comes to confiding in somebody, you trust only a small number of people.
This doesn’t necessarily mean that someone wronged you in the past, but it certainly can be the cause. You know what it means to love and care for people, and that’s why you always expect the same from others. What you figured out eventually was that not all people are as caring and supportive as you, and that’s exactly what made you and a bit skeptical.
We all get hurt many times throughout life, which is why you need to accept it as a fact and try to move forward. Not all people are the same, and sooner or later you’ll be able to tell exactly which ones you want in your life, and which have no place there.
If you saw the butterfly first you are:
Scared of death
What frightens you the most is death.
This doesn’t necessarily mean that you are afraid of dying.
You might be scared of losing your friends and loved ones and this truly terrifies you. You are one of those people that always worry a bit too much when their loved ones don’t have their seat belt on, or when they are off doing some extreme sports.
This might sound too morbid or scary to some, but it’s all too real to those who have this fear.
The good thing is that there is a way to reverse this fear. The way to do so is by making sure that you appreciate all that life has to offer, and simply enjoy all of those special moments it has in store for you.
What if I saw an apple first?
I saw an apple first 🤷♀️
I saw the Apple first. What am I scared of?
What if I saw an apple? It means I an ‘fearless”?
I saw the apple first as well. I wonder if it means we look at the whole picture before noticing details within it?
