It’s not easy figuring out what you want to do for a living, and this dog knew it all too well.
Lulu started training for the CIA, as a bomb sniffing dog, and she was doing pretty well. They enrolled her in the elite training programme where she trained for a few weeks. She trained alongside other puppies, and they were teaching them how to detect bomb odors.

After just a few weeks of training, Lulu had had enough, and was no longer motivated to sniff out bombs. Instead she just wanted to play, and enjoy her treats.

At first, no one was worried that Lulu might end up getting fired, since it’s quite normal for almost all dogs to sometimes lose interest, or lose their motivation for a while. It wasn’t something to worry over, and they expected it to soon pass.
That, however wasn’t the case with Lulu, who had decided that a career in bomb sniffing wasn’t what she really wanted.
What did Lulu want to do?
So we already know that what she didn’t want to do is sniff out bombs, but what did she want to do instead?
Well as her handler, who also adopted Lulu, says: “she’d rather sniff out rabbits and squirrels in the back yard, and play with children, and their other Labrador, Harry.”
Everyone at the CIA is going to miss this cute girl, but they are really happy that she’s happy and doing exactly what she wants to be doing.
